Practitioners who have received Vajrayogini empowerment can register for our 2023 Vajrayogini retreat.
This is a wonderful opportunity for practitioners who have received Vajrayogini empowerment to quickly remove obstacles and deepen their meditation practice during this three week retreat.
The course teacher is Les Sheehy, director of the Tibetan Buddhist Society’s Perth centre, and a long-time student of the Society’s founder and spiritual guide, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden. Les has given teachings and led retreats on the practice of Vajrayogini for more than 25 years.
Vajrayogini is an extraordinary purification practice. Students join six sessions of guided meditation each day and complete 100,000 mantras. The authoritative Vajrayogini commentary, ‘Path to the Union of Clear Light and Illusory Body’, by the great Tibetan scholar and spiritual guide, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, is the basis for retreat teachings and meditations. The retreat concludes with a traditional fire puja.
The first session will commence at 7am on Sunday 17 September and the retreat will finish after lunch on Saturday 7 October 2023.
The retreat will be held on site in the beautiful environment of the Peaceful Land of Joy meditation centre. Participants also have an option to attend online.
Onsite attendees can stay at the centre for the duration of the retreat or may choose to stay offsite and commute daily.
