The annual pilgrimage by Vietnamese Buddhists was early this year. About 500 pilgrims from our friends at Quang Minh Temple in Braybrook in early February 2024 and also our regular visitors from Sunshine Temple.

The New Year Meditation Festival in late February to mark the Tibetan new year drew monks and nuns from many parts of Victoria.
Venerable Geshe Rabten, the resident teacher from Atisha centre in Bendigo later gave us his first talk in the temple on the festival theme, Compassion in Action, supported by his translator, Venerable Lobsang Dorje.
We are especially blessed when Venerable Geshe Doga, senior teacher from Tara Institute (pictured at the head of the table) joined us for the New Year Blessing Ceremony.

A Tibetan Buddhist Society social get-together, held at Cafe Bliss, the wonderful coffee shop located next to Tara Institute, in February. Participants, pictured in the Tara Institute gompa, had an enjoyable time.
