Our famous Chai Masala is one of the most popular products in our Tibetan Buddhist Society Enjoyment Shop. Until now our Chai Masala has only been available to Enjoyment Shop customers who come to the centre, but we can now take online orders. We have been selling our special blend of Chai Masala since 2005 , and it’s a product that has attracted many loyal return customers!
The blend is produced in small hand made batches, to maximise freshness, from traditional ingredients – ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, black pepper and premium grade black tea.
Some of our customers prepare it the more traditional way, using dairy milk. Others prefer using soy milk or almond milk

Tibetan Buddhist Society Chai Masala – preparation instructions (also printed on packet label)
Directions for two persons:
Add 2 teaspoons of Chai blend to saucepan, add 1 cup of water. Bring to boil. Steep for five minutes.
Add 1 cup of milk or soy milk. Add two teaspoons of sugar. Simmer gently without boiling for about 5 minutes.
Strain the Chai mixture directly into cup.
Hence for a stronger and spicier Chai, add less milk, add more water, steep for longer than five minutes.
