A Celebration of Meditation with Four Joyful Practices

Onsite and online

Tibetan Buddhist Society: 20 Cookes Rd, Yuroke, Victoria, 3063 (Access Mickleham Rd)

During this retreat Nick Sleeman will lead us on a guided tour of some of the most beautiful visualisation meditations from Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden’s Prayers for the Path of Indivisible Great Bliss and Emptiness.

We will meditate on the inspiring practice of Shakyamuni Buddha, the peaceful long life practice of White Tara, the special methods to sustain our health and wellbeing shown by Medicine Buddha, and the joyful practice of Manjushri, the embodiment of all Buddhas’ wisdom.

Program

There will be four sessions including guided meditations and an explanation of the practice. The retreat timetable will be:

Session 1:    9.15 – 10.30am

Morning tea beak

Session 2:   11.15am – 12.30pm

Lunch break

Session 3:   2.15 – 3.30pm

Afternoon tea break

Session 4:   4.15 – 5.15pm
