A Celebration of Meditation with Four Joyful Practices

During this retreat Nick Sleeman will lead us on a guided tour of some of the most beautiful visualisation meditations from Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden’s Prayers for the Path of Indivisible Great Bliss and Emptiness.
We will meditate on the inspiring practice of Shakyamuni Buddha, the peaceful long life practice of White Tara, the special methods to sustain our health and wellbeing shown by Medicine Buddha, and the joyful practice of Manjushri, the embodiment of all Buddhas’ wisdom.
Program
There will be four sessions including guided meditations and an explanation of the practice. The retreat timetable will be:
Session 1: 9.15 – 10.30am
Morning tea beak
Session 2: 11.15am – 12.30pm
Lunch break
Session 3: 2.15 – 3.30pm
Afternoon tea break
Session 4: 4.15 – 5.15pm
Retreat information
Everybody is welcome. For those who are familiar with these practices this is a wonderful opportunity to meditate on them in a group setting. For those who are unfamiliar with them, these are beautiful relaxing meditations that introduce you to some of the core practices in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
