Explore fresh perspectives on life
The Easter retreat is a marvellous opportunity to learn and practise methods for a sense of calm, clarity and the warm heart of compassion. Explore fresh perspectives on life that can make a difference to you and the people and environments you encounter.
The course draws on profound Tibetan Buddhist thought as taught by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the spiritual guide of the Tibetan Buddhist Society, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden.
Meditation techniques and philosophy
Six one-hour daily sessions offer:
- Practical techniques and meditations to reduce stress and develop a calm, clear and focussed mind
- Insights into the Buddhist philosophy of love, compassion and good heart and its capacity to transform our lives
- How to create a happier and more meaningful life in the face of our troubled world
Daily retreat program
Each day will include:
- a variety of guided morning meditations,
- core explanations and associated meditations during the day and
- a concentration meditation and open discussion each evening.
We look forward to welcoming you to our 2024 Easter retreat, to be led by Ven Anna Goldstein. Anna is a Tibetan Buddhist nun from the Tibetan Buddhist Society in Melbourne. She has studied meditation and Buddhist philosophy for more than 30 years with the guidance of the great Tibetan scholar and meditator Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden.
