A group of 12 Tibetan Buddhist Society students undertook marvellous travels to southern India in December 2025. The expedition included daily visits to Loden Labrang (house) to meet with young Loden Rinpoche, the reincarnation of the founder and spiritual guide of the Tibetan Buddhist Society, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, his guardian Geshe Penpa, and the other resident monks. We hope you enjoy this storyboard, which is supported by a comprehensive report explaining details of the visit. Thanks to the various photographers, Manikam, Michael, Chris, Martin and Anna for their contributions.

Below: Lama Tsong Kapa Day – Loden Rinpoche leads the Society’s group in making offerings to all the monks at Sera-Je Monastery following the tradition of Geshe Loden when he regularly visited his monastery in India during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The next three images depict our group on the steps of Sera Je, inside the great hall and our ordained members of the party with Loden Rinpoche upstairs at Sera Je.
