Our beneficial community meetings
TBS holds twice yearly community meetings which include an open forum to offer feedback, share and generate ideas.
Everyone interested in the centre and its community is welcome.
Two of the many ideas generated by these meetings include the very successful day retreat program and the Dharma study group – now in their second year.
Come along to the next meeting at the centre on Saturday 23 November at 2:15pm!

A delightful outing to Quang Minh temple
A stormy day but brilliant, warm hospitality was experienced by those attending a TBS social outing to visit our dear friends at Quang Minh temple in Braybrook.
Around 30 people from the centre, including ordained sangha, were offered a guided tour of the property, a sumptuous Vietnamese lunch, a walking meditation and a wonderful talk by the Abbott, Venerable Thich Phuoc Tan.
Left: Ven Phuoc Tan offers a Dharma talk to our group. Right: outside the temple – yes, it sure was chilly!

Vesak prayers and other events
Special prayers for Vesak and honouring his Holiness the Dalai Lama’s birthday was held on Sunday 23 June, followed by afternoon tea.
Each year we honour our precious founder and spiritual guide, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden. This was held this year on Saturdays 24 and 31 August and Tuesday 3 September, to mark Geshe-la’s meditative equipoise.
