MEDITATIONS FOR DEVELOPING THE GOOD HEART OF BODHICHITTA

Onsite and online

with Michael Joseph

Bodhichitta – a wellspring of relaxation, happiness and health

There is only one gateway to the mahayana and that is bodhichitta. By developing bodhichitta our life is made meaningful. Actions of body, speech and mind motivated by bodhichitta bring immeasurable benefit. Bodhichitta is the basis upon which vajrayana practice depends. Having a good heart counters selfish preoccupation and is a wellspring of relaxation, happiness and health. There are two main ways for developing bodhichitta. Of these, the method of equalising and exchanging self for others is considered superior. The steps for developing bodhichitta based on this method will be explained, along with guided meditations.
