Compiled and translated by Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden Prayers for the Path of Indivisible Great Bliss and Emptiness is Geshe Loden’s eighth book. It brings together in one edition the major prayers and sadhanas compiled and translated into English by the Spiritual Founder of the Tibetan Buddhist Society, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden.
The book has 17 sections covering Geshe-la’s favourite prayers, dedications and sadhanas such as those of Shakyamuni Buddha, Maitreya Buddha, Manjushri, Medicine Buddha, White Tara, Vajrasattva and the consciousness transference of Amitabha Buddha.
The book also contains the brief and extensive sadhanas of Yamantaka and Vajrayogini and includes Geshe-la’s biography. Each prayer and sadhana has been carefully translated by Geshe-la to ensure that it conveys its true meaning and significance. Eight deity images, photos of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, 19 line drawings, and colour and black and white illustrations of the eight auspicious symbols adorn the book’s pages.
The book has been hand-bound to ensure that it will lie open on any page and is covered in high quality cloth selected for longevity. A limited number of these books have been printed and they are only available to students at the Society’s centres or those who have received a highest yoga tantra initiation from a qualified Vajra Acharya.
