Introduction class – 1.30 pm Sundays
Join Caterina Neal for a new introduction series commencing Sunday 13 October at 1.30 pm.
Caterina explains, “In this series I am going to explore kindness and how you can develop a beautiful motivation for everyday life. With topics covered such as; loving kindness, compassion, appreciative joy and equanimity for all.
With a focus on how we can gently weave and practice these into our everyday work and home life.
There will be a couple of guided meditations for each session. Feel free to come for a single session or for the entire series.”
Caterina is a long time Dharma student, and regular teacher of these courses, especially focused on the teachings of the Society’s founder, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden.

You can join the two Sunday and Tuesday classes in the magnificent traditional Tibetan temple. All are welcome.
The temple is a very beautiful and serene space, featuring a 12 foot statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and unique Tibetan artworks called thangkas. There are both cushions, for those who like to meditate cross-legged, and chairs to suit others’ comfort too. We offer delicious morning and afternoon tea and an opportunity to chat after each session.
The Sunday classes comprise a guided meditation, a talk, Q and A. There is a $10 facilities charge. All proceeds support the upkeep of the temple and gardens. The Enjoyment Shop, with gifts and Dharma items, is currently open when there are classes on Sundays: 1 – 1.30 pm and then 3 to 4 pm.
