The Tibetan Buddhist Society is delighted to welcome the renowned Tibetan Buddhist master, Venerable Acharya Zasep Tulku Rinpoche, to teach at the Peaceful Land of Joy Meditation Centre in Melbourne in March 2019.
During his visit, Rinpoche will lead two weekend retreats on Mahamudra and Medicine Buddha. Rinpoche will also give empowerments in the practice of White Tara and Medicine Buddha and an evening of commentary on White Tara practice.
Rinpoche’s visit will begin on Friday 8 March with the official Melbourne launch of this new book Gelug Mahamudra – Eloquent Speech of Manjushri.
You can find full details of Rinpoche’s Melbourne program here.
Rinpoche was a translator to the Tibetan Buddhist Society’s Founder, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, at Chenrezig Institute from 1976 to 1979. He formed a close relationship with Geshe-la, which he maintained until Geshe-la’s passing in August 2011.
Zasep Tulku is based in Canada but teaches students in sutra, Mahamudra and Vajrayana Buddhist philosophy and practice throughout the world.
Rinpoche has a wonderful gentle teaching style, laced with humour and practical advice. His previous visits to the Melbourne centre have created great enjoyment and interest, and his return to the Peaceful Land of Joy is keenly awaited.
