Dharma in Theory and Practice
Introduction series – nine weeks from Sunday 11 July to 12 Sept (except Father’s Day)
A new nine-week introductory series on the theory and practice of Tibetan Buddhism. The course teachings will be from Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden’s text Essence of the Path to Enlightenment. Plenty of time for Q&A, discussion and a cuppa after class.
Join Tibetan Buddhist Society teacher, Nick Sleeman, for this nine-week series from 1.30-3pm on Sunday 11 July. Nick is a long-time student of the Society’s founder and spiritual guide, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden.
The course is based on guidance in the remarkable text Essence of the Path to Enlightenment by Geshe Loden. Everyone is very welcome.

Joining classes in the temple
You can join the classes in the magnificent traditional Tibetan temple at 20 Cookes Road, Yuroke (turn off Mickleham Road), or to join the sessions online via YouTube see below.
Afternoon tea will be served in the temple dining room after each class.
If there are changes to on site access, due to COVID situations and changes in Government guidelines, we will inform you as quickly as possible.
Please stay home if you are unwell. Please bring your mask for use indoors and enter using the Vic Govt QR code on arrival. A density limit of one person per 4 sqm applies indoors. More details about our covid safe plan and requirements can be downloaded here.

Since the outbreak of COVID in March 2020 attendance at our classes has been by donation. Many people have been very generous and we thank them. However, due to the ongoing nature of the pandemic and the impact on the centre’s ability to cover its operating costs we are re-introducing the session cost of $10 per session, half price if needed.
