His Eminence Ling Rinpoche – tour update

Please be advised that the planned April teachings and initiations by His Eminence Ling Rinpoche at the Tibetan Buddhist Society have been indefinitely postponed.

His Eminence Ling Rinpoche’s office has sent the following message to the Society following declaration of COVID-19 as a pandemic and advice by the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, against mass gatherings. The message said:

“Due to the escalating global emergency and out of His Eminence’s concern for everyone’s safety, we have decided to postpone indefinitely his Australian teaching tour to a later date.

When the situation is contained, we will do our best to re-schedule the tour. We deeply apologise for the inconvenience for all of you who have invested time and resources in putting this tour together.

Please stay safe and take care of your health.”

The Tibetan Buddhist Society will refund all registration fees as soon as possible.

Information for the Tibetan Buddhist Society community about issues associated with Coronavirus-2019 will follow later today.

For more information please phone Wendy, Cathy or Anna at the centre on 9333 1770 or email contact@tushita.org.
