Rose Garden Open Days cancelled
We regret to inform you that this weekend’s Rose Garden Open Days – planned for 11 am to 4 pm on 2 and 3 December – are unfortunately cancelled due to the unprecedented storm event being forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused and we look forward to seeing you at future events. The Rose Garden Open Days, initiated by our founder Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, are held twice a year in Spring and Autumn. The next is planned for the weekend of 7 and 8 April 2018.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who kindly offered to help over this weekend. All of our events and activities are run by volunteers and we are incredibly grateful for all the time and effort you offer.
Sunday Introduction class is also cancelled
In addition we have cancelled this week’s introduction class, Mindful Living, at 1.30 pm Sunday. The course, taught by Tibetan Buddhist Society director and teacher, Anthony Joseph, will resume the following Sunday, 10 December. For more information about the course visit
A detailed email will follow shortly about our beautiful Christmas dinner next Saturday night, 9 December (free for members, $25 a head for non-members) and the end of year White Tara ceremony at 4 pm Sunday 17 December.
