Rose Garden Open Day – 2 December, 12 noon to 4 pm

This year, on Sunday 2 December we are opening the beautiful Peaceful Land of Joy gardens for community enjoyment on one day from 12 noon to 4 pm.

This late spring and early summer Rose Garden Open Day offers our much-loved Devonshire teas with fresh scones, a taste of meditation in the traditional Tibetan temple and garden tours with a wealth of organic cultivation and water-wise tips.

Visitors to the Peaceful Land of Joy often remark upon the serenity and peace they feel on arrival. The Garden Open Days are a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty and colour of the gardens and to relax in a delightful haven of peace and tranquility.

The gardens feature many varieties of colourful roses and salvias, hundreds of trees including golden robinias and Californian redwoods, sweeping lawns, a lake and a magnificent traditional Tibetan temple.

Entry is free.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with this relaxed and peaceful event and invite you to contact the centre on 9333 1770 if you can spare a couple of hours to help.
