Tibetan Buddhist Society - Beaumaris Centre
The Beaumaris Buddhist Meditation Centre of Great Joy was officially established
in 1994. The centre is located in the southern suburbs of Melbourne.
Teacher
Its founder, teacher and director is Therese Bottomley who studied with Ven. Geshe
Loden for many years. Her husband, Laurence, and her two daughters, Katrina
and Lisa, are also co-directors.
Courses
The Beaumaris centre provides regular classes every week, catering for both the
beginner and advanced student, as well as special one day classes and retreats from
time to time. Vajrayogini practice is held once a month. Special classes are held
for mothers and children.
The Beaumaris centre is also active in arranging fundraising events, supporting
both the local community and also the Tibetan community.
